  8.     If you choose [U], you will be asked for the filename you wish to
  9.     SEND to this BBS.  After you type in the filename and GAP checks to
  10.     see if it already exists online, you will be asked to enter a brief
  11.     description of the file you wish to send.

  13.     Some sysops may be using the "Extended" Directory Feature.  If that
  14.     is the case then you will first be asked for a list of Key Words
  15.     and then you may enter up to 10 lines of description to describe the
  16.     file you wish to upload.

  18.     If you have already set your default protocol in your personal
  19.     database (usually done at registration) you will not be asked to
  20.     choose a protocol.  If you choose NONE when you registered on this
  21.     BBS, GAP will ask you to choose a protocol.

  23.     You may also override your default protocol by appending the letter
  24.     after the chosen filename (ie U WICKED.ARC Z).

  26.     If you wish to send the file PRIVATELY to the sysop, when you are
  27.     asked to enter a description, place a / in front of the description.

  29.     Only proper DOS filenames are accepted.  If you enter an improper
  30.     name, the GAP will give you the appropriate message.

  32.     Some sysops may allow you to send the file to a specific directory.
  33.     If that is the case then  you will be asked if you wish your upload
  34.     to be entered into a specific directory.  If you answer Yes, you will
  35.     be asked for the directory number to place the file in.  You may ask
  36.     for a [L]ist of directories in which case GAP will show you a menu of
  37.     the available directories.  This feature was provided so that YOU may
  38.     help the sysop keep the BBS in top notch shape!
